Dr Shruti Mittal completed her residency program in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India in 2012.
She then did her fellowship training in Pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and neuro ophthalmology, from Sankara Nethralaya for a duration of 1.5 years.
She was then appointed as faculty at the same institute, where she continued to provide services for 5 years as a Consultant. Following this she moved to Mumbai, as Consultant at Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya, a chain of eye hospsitals known for quality and excellence.
She has an overall experience of more than 10 years in this field, during which she handled complex squint procedures and other Pediatric eye disorders as well as adult cataract surgery.
Her area of interest is squint surgery, nystagmus management and Pediatric and Adult cataract surgery, and myopia management in children. She has keen interest in research and has published papers in reputed medical journals and contributed to book chapters.
