
Lavya Jose began her career as a speech-language therapist in Abu Dhabi in 2006. Finishing her master’s in audiology and speech-language pathology (MASLP) from Manipal University, India, in 2012, she has worked across various clinical settings in India, Qatar, and the UAE, treating both adults and children. As a speech pathologist in Abu Dhabi, she has a special interest in Autism and ADHD. The assessment methodology Lavya developed in her research on Communication Acts and Functions in children with Autism is still in use today at her former university in India.
At the speech and language therapy center in Abu Dhabi, Lavya provides expert care to individuals with speech and communication challenges. Her expertise extends to both pediatric and adult speech therapy in Abu Dhabi, ensuring that patients of all ages receive tailored interventions.
Having a strong multicultural background, Lavya provides therapy in English, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and basic Arabic. She is also certified in a 3-part treatment for oral placement therapy, Talk Tools Level 1, Introduction to PROMPT for articulation, and has completed foundational training in Makaton for professionals.
