Dr. Fatima Hassan, MD is a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist with extensive experience in providing comprehensive women's healthcare services. She earned her Clinical MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board in 2021 and completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Dongola University, Sudan, in 2009.
Dr. Fatima specializes in the management of both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, antenatal and postnatal care, recurrent miscarriage, and family planning services. Her expertise includes performing transabdominal and transvaginal obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, insertion of intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs), and Implanon insertion.
She is highly skilled in managing normal and complicated deliveries, including emergency and elective cesarean sections, instrumental deliveries, twin deliveries, and vaginal-assisted breech deliveries. In addition, Dr. Fatima has significant surgical experience in performing total and subtotal hysterectomies with or without salpingo-oophorectomy, oophorectomy, myomectomy, emergency laparotomies, and pelvic floor repair procedures such as anterior repair for cystocele and posterior repair for rectocele.
