Dr Mohamed Fouad Elsayed Khalil graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2012 and went on to earn a Master of Science in Neurology from Ain Shams University in 2017. He later achieved the prestigious Fellowship of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN) in 2021 and obtained his Medical Doctorate in Neurology from Ain Shams University in 2022.
Dr Mohamed Fouad holds several advanced qualifications, including Fellowships in Headache and Facial Pain Medicine and Pain Management, as well as certifications in Multiple Sclerosis (MSCS) and Epilepsy. He is highly skilled in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular and sleep disorders, with expertise in EEG, NCV, EMG, and polysomnography studies.
Dr Mohamed Fouad began his career as a General Practitioner at the Primary Care Hospital of the Ministry of Health and military hospitals in Egypt in 2012. Following this, he became a Neurology and Psychiatry Resident at General Health Insurance Hospitals, under the Ministry of Health in Egypt in 2014.
In 2016, Dr Fouad joined the Air Force Specialized Hospital as a Neurology Resident, where he served until 2017. He then worked as a Neurology Specialist at Ain Shams University and at the Air Force Specialized Hospital until 2019. In 2019, he moved to Saudi Arabia and continued his practice as Neurology Specialist at Saudi German Hospital in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
In 2022, Dr Fouad moved to the UAE and continued his career as a Neurology Specialist at a private hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Dr Fouad’s leadership in stroke medicine has been remarkable, founding multiple stroke care programs in Egypt, His programs have received top-tier international recognition, including two consecutive Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditations as Primary Stroke Centers and three consecutive Diamond Awards from the World Stroke Organization.
Dr Fouad has contributed extensively to the field of neurology through numerous published international research papers, organizing scientific conferences, workshops, accredited CME activities, and public awareness campaigns. He is an active member of various international neurological societies and serves on the Board of Governors. He also contributes as a reviewer for several prestigious international scientific journals
