Dr. Shamoon Ahmad Vahidy is a Specialist General Surgeon with over 15 years of experience.
He completed his FCPS from College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan in 2006 and afterwards he did Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) in 2016. He has got vast post fellowship experience and is working for last 8 years in Dubai with large private & government hospitals.
During this period, he has performed hundreds of minimally invasive/ laparoscopic surgeries and conventional open procedures., both in elective & emergency settings involving patients of various nationalities. He has also worked in subspecialties like bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, plastic& reconstructive surgery and urology, etc.
He has been actively involved in academic activities, clinical presentations & research throughout his career. He keeps himself updated by regularly attending surgical workshops and attaining certificates & diplomas nationally & internationally. He is a member of many regional and international surgical societies.
Dr. Shamoon is fluent in English, Hindi & Urdu.
