Dr Merlin Samson has over 8 years of medical experience as a Dentist. She started her clinical practice in a private facility in India. In 2013, Dr Merlin worked as dental surgeon in India for almost 3 years. In 2015, she moved to the UAE and worked in various known private facilities General Dentist. In 2018, she then joined NMC up to present.
She completed her BDS from Dr MGR University in India.
Dr Merlin has intensive experience in dental restoration (class I, II, III, IV, V), composite build-up of Ellis class I and Ellis class 2 fracture of Anterior teeth, oral surgery like Trans alveolar Extractions, Third Molar Extractions, Alveoloplasty, Arch bar fixation, Biopsy, assisted in major surgeries in the Operation Theatre, endodontic (root canal treatment) with periapical pathology, pulpal Involvement, post and core. She also does complete periodontal therapy of scaling and root planning, tooth bleaching scaling & polishing & diamond stone on the tooth, ceramic polymer glass and ceramic metallic crowns and bridges, Hollywood smile (veneers) and extraction all erupted teeth. Dr Merlin has intensive experience in dental restorations (illuminated fillings–amalgam fillings & fiberglass post and core-build-ups, oral surgery like minor surgical procedures, suturing, incisions, endodontic (root canal treatment) moveable, prosthetics (acrylic & vetalum).
