Dr. Amir Ali is a highly experienced and compassionate urologist based in Abu Dhabi, with advanced training in robotic surgery and a deep commitment to patient-centred care. He was awarded the prestigious FRCS in Urology by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is also on the permanent register of the General Medical Council (GMC), UK. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Amir completed a prestigious post-CCT Fellowship in Robotic Uro-Oncology from the University Hospital of Cardiff, Wales.

Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Amir served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC) in Gujarat—India’s leading centre for kidney transplants and urinary tract care. He also worked as a Consultant Urologist at Aster Prime Hospital (Hyderabad) and Maxcare Hospital (Warangal).

From 2018 to 2021, Dr. Amir practiced at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, where he established a busy urology service. As one of the best urologists in Abu Dhabi, he pioneered the start of many new advanced urological procedures including supine PCNL and retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgeries. He is credited with performing the first retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomy in the UAE.

Dr Amir then moved to the UK, where he trained on the latest Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, performing over 250 robotic surgeries including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer procedures. He has worked in the NHS alongside some of the best urologists in the UK, further refining his skills in urological care.
