Dr. Waleed Moubark Ibrahim is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah, with independent practice across Ireland, the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE since 2007. His expertise includes complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusion (CTO) treatment, IVUS, OCT, FFR, rotablation, and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
He holds an MBBS from Gezira University-Sudan, an MSc in Cardiology from Trinity College Dublin, and a Certificate of Specialist Doctor in Cardiology (CCT) from the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK (MRCP).
Dr. Ibrahim has extensive experience in tertiary cardiac centres and has led the establishment of new cardiac catheterisation units. He is actively involved in medical education and training across Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
