Dr. Sujatha Rajamurugan is a Consultant Radiologist with over 28 years of international experience across India, the United Kingdom and the UAE. She specialises in breast imaging and breast interventions and currently practises at NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
She holds an MD and DNB in Radio diagnosis from Madras Medical College, India, FRCR from the Royal College of Radiologits, United Kingdom and MMed from Singapore. She completed a dedicated Fellowship in Breast Radiology within the UK National Health Service (NHS), gaining specialised training and clinical experience at University Hospitals West Sussex.
Her breast imaging expertise includes mammography, 3D tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image-guided breast biopsies, stereotactic procedures, lesion localisation and breast cancer imaging. She also has extensive expertise in general diagnostic imaging, including radiography, CT, MRI and women’s imaging.
Dr. Sujatha is committed to accurate, evidence-based diagnosis and compassionate, patient-centred care, with a focus on early detection and personalised breast care. She also actively contributes to professional education and has presented at national and international conferences, both as a speaker and a panel member .
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, UK, and a member of the European Society of Breast Imaging and the Breast Imaging Society of India.
