With more than 19 years of extensive surgical experience, Dr Neeraj Sharma brings in wealth of expertise in management of sports injuries, complex trauma and disorders of bone and joints. He completed his Masters in Surgery (Orthopaedics) in 2005 from prestigious Delhi University. Thereafter, he completed Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy of Knee from North Sydney Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre, Sydeny, Australia and Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine from Klinikum Rechts der Isar, Munich, Germany.
He has keen interest in arthroscopy of knee (repair of meniscus injuries with reconstruction of ligaments), arthroscopy of shoulder (management of shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears), knee and hip replacement and complex trauma management. He has multiple research publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals. He has won numerous awards for his research work including Asian Admirable Achiever’s 2010 and Marquis Who’s Who in the world 2011. In continuous pursuit of excellence, Dr Neeraj Sharma regularly participates in advanced training workshops and conferences throughout the world. He has been practicing for more than 8 years in Abu Dhabi with specific focus on arthroscopic and minimal invasive management of sports injuries of knee and shoulder.
