Dr Ratna completed her MBBS from Andhra Medical College, India. She further enhanced her expertise by obtaining MRCPCH (Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK) and DCH (Diploma in Child Health, UK) qualifications. In addition, she is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), enabling her to provide specialized breastfeeding support and guidance for mothers and newborns.
With a distinguished career spanning both private and government healthcare sectors in the UAE, Dr Ratna has gained extensive experience in paediatric outpatient care, emergency paediatrics, inpatient management, neonatal assessment, newborn resuscitation, and preventive child healthcare.
Dr Ratna is actively involved in medical education and research. She has presented at numerous regional and national conferences and has contributed to published research in the field of child health and wellbeing. She is deeply committed to empowering parents through education, counselling, and collaborative care, helping families make informed decisions about their children's health and development.
