Dr Rajesh Panda has over 10 years of experience in the management of critically ill patients across medical, surgical, trauma, burns, neurocritical care, and cardiothoracic intensive care units which includes more than 1 year in a dedicated Trauma and Burns ICU, where I gained extensive expertise in the management of polytrauma, major burns, postoperative trauma care, massive transfusion protocols, and critically injured patients requiring advanced organ support.
My clinical practice includes the comprehensive management of septic shock, acute respiratory failure, multiorgan dysfunction syndrome, severe trauma, postoperative critical care, neurological emergencies, pancreatitis, transplant and complex infectious diseases, and other critically ill medical and surgical patients.
I am proficient in all core intensive care procedures, including endotracheal intubation, percutaneous tracheostomy, central venous and arterial catheterization, dialysis catheter insertion, chest tube placement, bronchoscopy, and advanced airway management. I have extensive expertise in mechanical ventilation, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, renal replacement therapies (CRRT and intermittent hemodialysis), extracorporeal support principles, and point-of-care critical care ultrasonography, including critical care echocardiography for the assessment of shock and cardiac function.
Throughout my career, I have worked in multidisciplinary tertiary care intensive care units, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, leading multidisciplinary teams, supervising junior physicians, coordinating with medical and surgical specialties, and actively participating in teaching, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research.
