Dr. Pankaj Patel is an Australia-qualified Consultant Neonatologist with over 25 years of experience in neonatal medicine, including more than 13 years in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). He specialises in the care of premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns, with particular expertise in neonatal ventilation, neonatal critical care, and neonatal hypoglycaemia.
Dr. Patel is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centred care. He believes in working closely with parents, ensuring they are informed, supported, and actively involved in their baby's care throughout the NICU journey.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Patel has extensive experience in neonatal quality improvement, clinical governance, medical education, research, and the development of clinical protocols. He is passionate about mentoring healthcare professionals and continuously improving neonatal outcomes through innovation, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.
