Dr Najat Amharar is a French-Moroccan Consultant General surgeon, she has over 13 year experience in Surgery and has been working in the UAE for 9 years.
She has completed her residency in laparoscopic colorectal and HPB surgery in Bordeaux and her fellowship in General Surgery at the Catholic University Hospital of Lille.
She also holds an international wound care completion certificate with the IIWCC and a Functional Medicine practitioner certificate from the US.
Her interests spread out from:
- proctology (hemorrhoids,anal fissure and fistula),
- benign breast disease,
- gut health (SIBO, IBS),
- wound and burn care (diabetic foot, postoperative wound complications, skin infections and tumors),
- abdominal surgery (hernias, gallstones, digestive emergencies etc) as well as endocrine surgeries (thyroid and parathyroid).
