Dr. Muna Almurrawi is a highly accomplished consultant dermatologist and one of the leading figures in dermatology in the United Arab Emirates. She is an Arab Board–certified dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has also obtained advanced qualifications in aesthetic medicine, laser safety, and wound care, reflecting her broad expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Almurrawi has held several prominent leadership positions. She previously served as Head of the Dermatology Department at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where she also chaired the Laser Safety Committee, coordinated phototherapy services, participated in multidisciplinary wound care programs, and contributed to environmental health and safety initiatives. In addition, she played an important educational role as Director of the Dermatology Arab Board Residency Program in Abu Dhabi and has served as an examiner for physician licensing in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Almurrawi is recognized for her contributions to professional development within the specialty. She was among the pioneers who helped establish the Emirates Dermatology Society and has served in leadership roles, including heading its scientific committee and later serving as its president. Through these positions, she has contributed to advancing dermatology education, research, and clinical standards across the UAE.
Building on her extensive clinical and academic experience, Dr. Almurrawi founded the Dr. Muna Almurrawi Medical Center, a specialized center dedicated to comprehensive medical and aesthetic dermatology. Her practice emphasizes evidence-based care, patient safety, and the integration of advanced technologies to deliver individualized treatment while maintaining natural aesthetic outcomes.
