Ms Alisha Austin Lobo is a highly qualified and skilled Physiotherapist with her Master in Physiotherapy in Neuroscience from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore, India and Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, India.
Ms Alisha has garnered over 4 years of clinical experience in management of patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, bell’s palsy, Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), nerve related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and well as paediatric conditions like cerebral palsy, developmental delays, torticollis and Erb’s Palsy. She has also treated various orthopaedic and sports conditions, including acute or chronic low back pain, cervical and shoulder pain, osteoarthritis, tendinitis and treats mechanical and non-mechanical conditions with different modalities such as manual therapy technique, myofascial release therapeutic exercises and therapeutic taping.
Ms Alisha has also catered to cardiology and pulmonary patients including early mobilization in ICU patients, OBG and women health issues.
Ms Alisha competence lies in ensuring that each patient receives a unique treatment plan that fits their daily lifestyle and encouraging patients to reach their maximum level of movement and function by educating them about their health condition.
Additionally, Ms Alisha has worked as Physiotherapy Faculty at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore and mentored Physiotherapy graduate and post graduate students. She has two published researched articles in Physiotherapy Journals.
