Mohammed Edon Islam is an internationally experienced Podiatrist and Sports Therapist, with clinical experience across the UK, UAE, and Singapore. His multidisciplinary background in podiatry, sports therapy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation enables him to take a holistic, evidence-based approach to foot health, movement, and performance.
His NHS experience includes working with Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Nottingham NHS Foundation Trust, and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, gaining experience in community podiatry, high-risk foot care, vascular assessment, and podiatric surgery.
A highlight of his career was working as a Sports Podiatrist at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he assessed and treated elite athletes within a multidisciplinary sports medicine environment.
Mohammed is also a Clinical Director for the Fit Feet Programme with Special Olympics UAE, supporting foot health screening and accessible podiatric care for People of Determination.
His extensive specialist training includes diagnostic ultrasound, injection therapy, shockwave therapy, vascular assessment, paediatric podiatry, nail surgery, sports acupuncture, gait analysis, and advanced orthotic therapy.
He is HCPC registered in the UK, a member of the Royal College of Podiatry, and licensed with DOH and DHA in the UAE, bringing together international experience, advanced clinical expertise, and a commitment to personalised patient care.
