With more than 19 years of extensive surgical experience, Dr Mohammed Bin Yahia ,brings in a wealth of expertise in management of Pediatric surgeries including minimal access pediatric surgery, Neonatal surgery, pediatric urology and hypospadias repairs, Pediatric trauma and Pediatric oncology.. He completed his Masters in Surgery (General surgery) in 2010 from DR NTRUHS followed by his Magister Chirurgiae Mch (Pediatric surgery) from the prestigious Osmania Medical College , Niloufer hospital. Thereafter, he completed Doctorate of National Board DrNB ( Pediatric surgery) from the National Board of Examinations from New Delhi , India
He has keen interest in neonatal surgery (Traceho esophageal fistula repair, Intestinal Atresia, Ano-Rectal Malformation, , Omphalocele, Congential Diaphragmatic Hernia repairs), Pediatric GI surgeries (Malrotations , Intestinal Obstructions , Volvulus, Intussusceptions), Pediatric Thoracic surgery ( Tracheo esophageal fistula , Congential Diaphragmatic hernias , Eventrations), Pediatric Urology ( Pyeloplasty, Posterior urethral valves, Hypospadias repairs) . He has multiple research publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals. He has won numerous awards for his presentations in both national and international conferences.. In continuous pursuit of excellence, Dr Mohammed Bin Yahia, regularly participates in advanced training workshops and conferences throughout the world. He is also a life member of various pediatric surgery organisations like Emirates Pediatric surgery society, Indian association of Pediatric surgeons, Pediatric endo surgeons of India .He has been practicing for more than 6 years in Abu Dhabi with specific focus on neonatal, GI and minimal access pediatric surgery.
