Dr Vineet Gupta is a British-trained Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician with over 20 years of specialist experience in the United Kingdom and the UAE. He earned his MRCPCH and FRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neonatal Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals, UK.
He also holds EACVI Accreditation in Echocardiography in Congenital Heart Disease from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, reflecting his advanced proficiency in diagnostic neonatal and paediatric cardiology.
Before relocating to the UAE, Dr Gupta served as the Clinical Lead for Neonatal Services in the NHS, UK, where he led NICU operations and enhanced neonatal cardiology services. Dr Gupta has served as Honorary Consultant, Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital, London, with a focus on echocardiography for congenital heart disease and neonatal haemodynamics.
He was instrumental in improving operational efficiency, clinical governance, and evidence-based neonatal care across services during his leadership tenure. Dr Gupta is deeply committed to family-integrated, patient-centred care, ensuring that high clinical standards are complemented by compassionate family communication.
He currently contributes to neonatal education and academic advancement as a Clinical Professor of Paediatrics and Neonatology at DMIHER University, India, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences, including Arab Health 2025.
Dr Gupta holds full Consultant Neonatology & Paediatrics licenses with both the Department of Health (Abu Dhabi) and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
