Dr Vikash Bundela is a specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with expertise in treating various gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He obtained his medical training in India, completing his MBBS from PGIMS, Rohtak in 2011, and an MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi (2012-2015). He secured All India rank 1 in the entrance exams for DM Gastroenterology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 2016. Subsequently, he received training in Gastroenterology and completed his DM from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2019. At PGIMER Chandigarh, he received ample training under the stalwarts of gastroenterology and was exposed to a large number of patients with various gastrointestinal diseases. After completing his DM degree, he joined PGI, Rohtak as an assistant professor of gastroenterology for a few months, where he headed a state-level viral hepatitis treatment and prevention program. Before moving to the UAE, he worked as a consultant and Head of the Gastroenterology Department at a tertiary care high-volume private hospital in Haryana, India. He has several conference presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals (10+ publications). He is a member of MANMS (USA), ASGE, and ISG. He received the ESEGH (European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology) certificate from the Royal College of Physicians, UK. He has also cleared the MRCP Medicine Part 1 and Part 2 exams.
