She completed her MBBS in 2018 from Dr. S.M.C.S.I Medical College & Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and went on to earn her MD in Dermatology in 2022 from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Pondicherry.

Following her post-graduation, Dr. Tiya practiced at Dr. S.M.C.S.I Medical College & Hospital from 2022, gaining strong hands-on experience in both medical and procedural dermatology. In 2025, she moved to the UAE and joined NMC Healthcare, where she continues to provide evidence-based, patient-focused dermatology care.
