Dr. Sameh Abdelazim Mohamed obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Zigzag University in Egypt in 2001. He earned his MD in Paediatrics in 2011 from Benha University, Egypt. With extensive international experience and a reputation as one of the best pediatricians in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Sameh currently serves as a Senior Pediatric Consultant in Abu Dhabi. He is recognized as a highly qualified Consultant Pediatrician in Abu Dhabi and an experienced Pediatric Consultant Doctor in Abu Dhabi, bringing exceptional clinical expertise to his role. Dr. Sameh is also regarded as a trusted Chief Pediatrician in Abu Dhabi and plays an integral role as the Head of Pediatrics Department in Abu Dhabi, ensuring comprehensive care for young patients.
Dr. Sameh has 23 years of working experience in the field of pediatrics across different countries, starting from Egypt, KSA, Kuwait, and the UAE. Prior to joining NMCRWH, he was working as a Consultant in Pediatrics at Mediclinic Hospital Abu Dhabi for 2 years, and before that, at Bareen Hospital for 7 years.
He has expertise in the comprehensive care of children, particularly in pediatric outpatient clinics and inpatient settings, and in the management of chronic pediatric problems. He specializes in treating acute and chronic medical conditions in many areas of pediatric medicine, starting from follow-up of newborn babies, assessment of growth and development, nutrition of babies, vaccination, and boosting immunity. His specialties include treating acute infectious illnesses of children, such as pulmonary infections, acute gastrointestinal illnesses, constipation, urinary tract problems, including nocturnal enuresis, and various skin conditions requiring assessment and monitoring.
