Dr. Safeena Anas is a proficient gynecologist with 23 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, treating patients for a variety of conditions.
Dr. Safeena's special interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and management of high-risk pregnancies. Her expertise includes laparoscopic management of endometriosis, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, operative hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and treatment of health concerns from adolescence to menopause.
Dr. Safeena completed her MBBS Degree in 1994 from Government Medical College, Kerala, India, and then attained a Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Government Medical College, Gujarat, India, in 2000. In addition, Dr. Safeena has also obtained a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery and pursued a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital Gurgaon, India, in 2011.
