Dr. Rowena Benita Sibiya graduated as a Medical Practitioner from the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine in 2007. Throughout her undergraduate training, her passion for paediatrics was nurtured, leading her to become recognized today as one of the Best child specialist doctors in Dubai. After completing her internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and community service at Ngwelezana Hospital, she went on to become a medical officer at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital (RCWMCH).
The desire to pursue a career in paediatrics was cemented by the vast pathologies and expertise that she was exposed to at RCWMCH. Her formal training commenced at UKZN in 2012, where she obtained her Diploma in Child Health (2012), her Fellowship in Paediatrics (2017), and then her Master's in Medicine (2019).
