Dr Prasanna Sangeewa Edirisingha is a highly experienced and internationally qualified Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine specialist with over 15 years of clinical expertise. Known for his caring approach, accuracy in diagnosis, and calm attitude, he provides quality, evidence-based care for patients of all ages.
Dr Prasanna completed his MBBS from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, and holds prestigious international qualifications including the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP – UK) and MRCEM (Intermediate – UK). He is also a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in Australia, reflecting his global approach to continuous medical advancement.
Dr Prasanna has worked in leading healthcare institutions both in Sri Lanka and the UAE. In Sri Lanka, he served at the National Hospital - Galle (formerly known as Teaching Hospital - Karapitiya) for nearly six years and later at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo for two years. In the UAE, he has continued to practice in top-tier medical centers, offering both outpatient and acute care services.
