Dr. Ibrahim Shahbuddin is a highly respected Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience in the UK’s National Health Service. He is known for his patient-centred approach and clear communication style. He is widely recognised for his expertise in managing long-term conditions such as diabetes, obesity and a broad spectrum of hormone-related disorders involving the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary. Dedicated to a holistic, patient-centred approach, he offers comprehensive care for all types of diabetes and their complications. He also has extensive experience in Diabetes Reversal Programmes, supporting patients to achieve remission through tailored lifestyle interventions and the latest evidence-based treatments.
After completing his undergraduate medical training in India in 2002, Dr. Shahbuddin moved to the UK to pursue postgraduate training within the National Health Service. Prior to relocating to UAE, he has served at leading NHS institutions including Nottingham University Hospitals (Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital), Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Royal Derby Hospital, and United Lincolnshire Hospitals.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shahbuddin has completed Leadership and Management modules with the East Midlands Deanery and has held multiple leadership and supervisory roles.
