In 2007, he received his Master's degree in Dermatology and Venereology from a prestigious Al Azhar university, Cairo, Egypt. He went on to complete his Doctorate in Dermatology in 2013 at the same university in Egypt, where he subsequently held positions as a lecturer and senior consultant.
