Dr Noah So is an orthopaedic surgeon from Hong Kong with expertise in paediatric orthopaedics and general orthopaedics. He has worked as an orthopaedic surgeon for over 13 years, completing his specialist training and receiving his fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine as well as the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Prior to sub-specialization in paediatric orthopaedics, he worked as a specialist in general orthopaedics at Queen Mary Hospital, a major trauma and tertiary referral centre as well as the flagship teaching hospital of the University of Hong Kong. His clinical experience included management of geriatric hip fractures, knee osteoarthritis, nerve entrapment, paediatric trauma and general adult trauma. As an honorary staff of the university, he was also involved in teaching medical students at the hospital.
His post-specialty training included 6 years of working at the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital in Hong Kong, managing a wide variety of paediatric orthopaedic conditions. His clinical experience includes the management of paediatric trauma, complex lower limb deformities, developmental dysplasia of the hip, clubfeet and common congenital upper limb disorders. Since 2019, he has been a core member of a team involved in setting up the paediatric orthopaedic service of the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, which is the city’s dedicated tertiary referral centre for complex paediatric conditions. As a result, he gained extensive experience working in a multidisciplinary setting on skeletal dysplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, paediatric hip conditions, cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorders. Dr So enjoys working with children and their families and is passionate about serving them with integrity and compassion.
