Dr Jawaher Ansari is a highly experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist with over 17 years of International Consultant experience in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Dr. Jawaher was the Chief of Medical Oncology and Program Director for the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, one of the largest Cancer Centers in UAE. He completed his specialist medical and radiation oncology training in the UK and holds CCT, FRCR (Clinical Oncology), and MRCP (UK) qualifications.

Dr. Jawaher has extensive experience in the management of breast, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, gynecological and lung malignancies, with a strong emphasis on personalized and evidence-based cancer care. He has extensive experience in using chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies in several cancer types. Dr. Jawaher has been a key opinion leader for the initiation of several novel therapies in UAE, including radioligand therapy for prostate cancer. Dr. Jawaher has considerable experience with immunotherapy in clinical practice and has contributed significantly to the field of immuno-oncology by integrating it with other treatment modalities.

He worked as a Consultant in Clinical Oncology at several reputable hospitals in the United Kingdom including The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Center, the second largest cancer center in the UK; the Northern Center for Cancer Care, Newcastle upon Tyne and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals NHS Trust in Birmingham. Dr. Jawaher has led multidisciplinary tumor boards and played a key role in developing site-specialized oncology services at large tertiary cancer centers. In addition to clinical care, he has demonstrated strong leadership in medical education and training, mentoring fellows and junior oncologists. Dr. Jawaher has served as a panel member for several international guideline committees and international conferences. He is internationally renowned for his lectures on advances in cancer management and he regularly participates in awareness campaigns on cancer screening and early cancer detection.
