Dr Feras Haider Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon, with over 20 years of expertise in the fields of arthroplasty, arthroscopy, sports medicine, and trauma surgery. He has dedicated his career to improving patient outcomes through advanced surgical techniques and compassionate care.
Dr Feras’s academic journey began at Damascus University in Syria, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2001. He then pursued higher studies at Aleppo University, obtaining a Master’s Degree (MD) in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 2008, followed by the Arab Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certification in 2010. His commitment to continual learning led him to complete a Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery in 2018.
Throughout his career, Dr Feras has amassed extensive experience in Syria and the UAE. He has served as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in several government MOH and private hospitals in Syria. Since 2015, he has been a prominent figure in Dubai's orthopaedic community, practicing at private hospitals. Dr Feras has performed over 1,000 knee replacement surgeries and numerous arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and trauma surgeries.
Dr Feras has contributed significantly to the medical community through his publications in renowned peer-reviewed journals such as AAOS, the British Bone & Joint Journal, and the Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma, and Rehabilitation. He is an active participant in local and international conferences and workshops, sharing his knowledge and staying at the forefront of orthopaedic advancements.
Dr Feras dedication to his field is recognized through memberships in several prestigious associations, including the Syrian Orthopaedic Association, ICJR-ME (Scientific Community), AO-Trauma Community, International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA), and the European Knee Society (EKS).
