Dr Fathima earned her MBBS from the Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, Kannur (Kannur University), Kerala, India. She then earned her M.D. in Radio Diagnosis from Yenepoya Medical College in Mangalore, India. She holds the DICR and European Diploma in Radiology (EdiR). Prior to joining NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain as a Specialist Radiologist, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiodiagnosis at Yenepoya Medical College Hospital from 2020 to 2024.
Dr. Fathima completed a paper on the Evaluation of Breast Lesion using 3T-MRI with Dynamic Contrast in a Tertiary Care Hospital in Coastal Karnataka, as well as a study on the Anatomical Variations of Branching of Aortic Arch on Contrast Enhanced Computed Tomography of Thorax.
