
Dr Dilip Stivart Bosco is a French national and an Indian board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with over 10 years of clinical experience. He specializes in upper limb surgeries, paediatric orthopaedics, and sports injury management.
Dr Dilip completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (MGMCRI), affiliated with Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University. He then pursued his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), under Pondicherry University, India.
Driven by a deep passion for upper limb surgery, Dr Dilip completed a postdoctoral fellowship in shoulder, elbow, hand surgery, and sports injuries at MGM Healthcare, Chennai, under the guidance of the renowned Dr Ram Chidambaram. Since 2021, he has served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. He has also held esteemed consultant roles in reputed hospitals, including Be Well Hospitals and AKB Specialty Clinics.
Dr Dilip has contributed extensively to orthopaedic research and has published peer-reviewed articles, including studies on the functional outcomes of ACL reconstruction using the peroneus longus graft, and comparative studies on distal radius fractures treated by plaster immobilization versus external fixation.
His clinical interests extend to paediatric orthopaedics, where he has significant experience managing conditions like clubfoot, congenital deformities, and performing guided growth procedures.
He is also proficient in managing osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint replacements with newer technique such as PRP, Intra articular hyaluronic acid injection (knee, hip, elbow), orthopaedic oncology, and various musculoskeletal disorders.
