
Dr Deme Abdissa Yadeta, a compassionate and highly skilled Paediatric General Practitioner (GP) with over 5 years of experience in Paediatrics and General Medicine. Dr Deme is committed to providing excellent patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a special focus on Paediatric medicine.
Dr Deme graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) from Addis Ababa University, College of Health Sciences, Ethiopia. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Paediatrics and Child Health at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College and is expected to complete his studies in 2024. In addition, Dr Deme holds certifications in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). He is also licensed by DHA and holds the MOH Evaluation Letter.
Dr Deme has gained extensive clinical experience through his roles as a Paediatric Resident Physician at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College and as a General Medical Practitioner at Zewditu Memorial Hospital and Lemen Primary Hospital, where he led the COVID-19 treatment center. His expertise spans a variety of critical care and pediatric specialties, including emergency medicine, PICU, NICU, and OB/GYN care. Dr. Deme has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, often guiding junior residents and medical students, while ensuring high-quality patient care.
