Dr Avanthi is one of the eminent female medical oncologists from Hyderabad, India extensively experienced and skilled in her field.
She is the only female Indian medical oncologist so far in Dubai.
She has completed her MBBS from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, NTR university of Health sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, in the year 2010 and completed her DNB General Medicine from National Board of Examinations, St. Philomena’s Hospital, Bangalore, in October 2015. Adding more stars to her clinical career and higher studies, Dr Avanthi, completed her DNB Medical oncology from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi at Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore, in February 2019 and received President NBE Gold Medal for securing highest marks in Medical Oncology (December 2018 session).
One of the proficient cancer specialists from Hyderabad, Dr Avanthi has special expertise on diagnosing and managing all types of solid and haematological malignancies, oncological emergencies, and autologous stem cell transplantation for Hodgkin’s, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphomas and multiple myeloma.
Dr Avanthi is a young, patient care focused, enthusiastic doctor who believes in treating patients with empathy and compassion. Dr Avanthi is both an Oncology & Haemato-oncology physician as well as an Internal Medicine Physician. She has been always interested in research and clinical studies in oncology apart from clinical practice and has been a part of a few oncology clinical trials in India. She is a member of American and European oncology societies as well. She has given talk sessions and lectures for many forums and platforms for students’ and nurses trainings in oncology and palliative care. Previously, she was associated with comprehensive cancer centres like American oncology institute Hyderabad, continental Hospitals Hyderabad India and was associated with Mediclinic Parkview Hospital Dubai for few months as a Specialist Medical Oncologist.
