Dr. Arunodaya Mohan is a British board-certified Consultant Haematologist. She has successfully completed foundation training in medical and surgical specialities and completed basic paediatric training .With over 15 years of haematology experience in London university hospitals and in district general hospitals including Greater London, Kent and Medway , Oxford and Surrey .She has excellent level experience in the management of both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, with expertise in myeloid disorders ,lymphoma, myeloma, Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), and sickle cell disease. She also actively recruits patients to clinical trials.
She has special interest in special diagnostics including flow cytometry and has worked as a laboratory Consultant at tertiary centres. She is also actively involved in laboratory haematology and served as the Lab Lead, ITP lead, sickle lead where she has contributed significantly to clinical audits, quality improvements, drafting clinical guidelines, protocols, SOP revisions, and UKAS accreditation processes. Dr. Mohan is a strong advocate for teaching and regularly mentors’ haematology trainees, middle-grade doctors, and SHOs. She has also been a part of panel of serious incidents to investigate, find route cause analysis and create changes in patient management.
