Dr. Areej completed her MD Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging at the Sudanese Medical Specialization Board in Khartoum, Sudan. She is particularly interested in dynamic MRI studies for the liver, MRCP studies of the temporal bone and cochlea (plain and contrast), MR urography, MRI prostate, MRI uterus and cervix, and MRI rectum. She has done study on the Assessment of Breast Lesions Using BI-RADS Ultrasounds Lexicon in Mammographically Dense Breasts (ACR Categories C and D). Dr. Areej worked in Aliaa Specialist Hospital 2 Sudan for over three years before joining NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain as a Specialist Radiologist.
