Additionally, he worked as a pediatric surgery specialist at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Makkah, KSA. Moreover, he underwent clinical training at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He also served at Aljahra Medical City, Kuwait.

On the research front, Dr. Badawe was awarded the Best Scientific Research Prize by the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Surgeons in recognition of his pioneering studies on innovative methods for treating hypospadias in children.

He completed Harvard University's "Training of Trainers" course and excelled in organizing a workshop on managing cases of undescended testes in children.
