Dr. Abhilasha Maheshwari completed her MBBS from Rural Medical College, Loni, Maharashtra, and her DNB (Ophthalmology) from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, one of India’s premier eye institutes. She pursued advanced fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology at Centre for Sight Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Hyderabad, followed by an international fellowship in Ocular Oncology at The New York Eye Cancer Center, New York, USA. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

With over 8 years of dedicated experience, Dr. Maheshwari is recognised for her expertise in diagnosing and managing complex conditions involving the orbit, eyelids, lacrimal system, and ocular adnexa, including benign and malignant tumours. Her practice combines evidence-based medicine, meticulous surgical technique, and empathetic patient-centred care. She is particularly known for integrating functional restoration with aesthetic refinement, helping patients achieve both visual rehabilitation and cosmetic confidence.
