Dr Wedad graduated from faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo. She received her Master’s Degree in Chest Disease and Pulmonary Tuberculosis from Ain Shams in 1994, and completed the MRCP in 2004. She also completed the HERMES in Respiratory Diseases in 2012 (European Diploma in respiratory diseases) and MRCP SCE in Respiratory in 2016.
Dr Wedad had attended special training course in different hospitals including Cherry Cross Hospital (London), Singapore General Hospital (Singapore), and Theodor Bilharz Institution.
Dr Wedad worked at the Ministry of Health in the UAE (2003 – 2006), at Swiscanal University, Egypt Air Hospital, and Ain Shams University in Egypt. She also has Experience in Bronchoscopy, Endoscopies, Sleep Study, Laser in Smoking Cessation and in Thorascopy, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test, Pleural Biopsy, Endotracheal Tube insertion, and Pleuradesis.
Dr Wedad has been employed at Al Zahra Hospital Sharjah since 2006.
