
Dr. Umesh Johrani has completed his graduation from ISRA University, Pakistan in 2011 and was awarded with a Gold Medal in General Medicine for attaining higher performance. During under-graduation, he completed clinical electives in Gastroenterology at Liaquat National Hospital and Pulmonology at Aga Khan University Hospital. Thereafter, he has done an internship from Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi where he worked in various departments like Accident & Emergency Medicine, Medical I.C.U, Neurology, General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.
Before joining NMC, Dr. Umesh Johrani has been working as a Medical Officer at Suchdev Medical Centre and Maternity Home. He also worked as Medical Officer at Faafu Atoll Hospital, Maldives.
He has attended many workshops on Quality in Healthcare, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Synopsis Dissertation writing, World COPD and Pneumonia Day.
Dr. Umesh Johrani speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Sindhi.
