Dr. Surekha Kalsank Pai has obtained her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. She later received her MD (Master's in OBG) from the same institution in 1992. Then in 2006, Dr Surekha obtained her MRCOG (UK) followed by FRCOG in 2018. Finally, in 2009, she received her Fellow of Minimal Access Surgery (WALS).
Dr. Surekha is an experienced and qualified Obstetrician, as she has performed more than 10,000 deliveries and numerous procedures related to women’s health. She has over 25 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecological experience. She started her professional journey as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Delma Hospital, Abu Dhabi. She has worked at various hospitals across India and Oman before joining NMC Healthcare in 2007 as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has vast experience in managing high-risk pregnancies, Laparoscopic and cosmetic gynaecological works.
Before joining NMC Royal Hospital, DIP, she worked as HOD, Dept of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Surekha has been involved in many presentations, CME’s and guest lectures. In addition, she keeps herself updated in her chosen field by constantly attending international conferences.
