Dr. Sobiya Kauser is a General Practitioner with 4+ years of experience. She completed her MBBS from Dr.B R Ambedkar Medical College - affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Karnataka in the year 2018.
Dr. Sobiya commenced her medical career as an ER physician at Fortis Hospital, Cunningham road Bangalore. During her tenure as an ER physician, she has handled 9 bedded ER with case loads of Acute Cardiac Emergencies, Stroke, GI bleeds, Acute Abdomen, Trauma care, Respiratory Emergencies, Intracranial Bleeds, Electrolyte Imbalances and more. She also holds experience in the Inpatient ward department for COVID Care at Citizen Hospital Bangalore, and Outpatient settings at City Clinic Bangalore.
She has conducted various Health camps for general public on National Yoga Day in association with Fortis hospital, and the Annual Health check-ups for school children at Wisdom international school, where she has also been a part of child mental Health care management as the School Medical Officer.
Dr. Sobiya has also volunteered with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India- for the Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign and has administered polio vaccinations, conducted door to door survey’s to locate children missed from the campaign and carried out surveillance of efficacy in immunization, as a step to Make India a Polio Free Country as a Medical Student. She has also volunteered for the National Deworming Public health Program to Deworm school children aged 1-15 years on national deworming days through the platform of Wisdom International School, Bangalore, to improve their Nutritional status, overall health and quality of life.
