Dr. Shwan is a highly qualified and UK trained consultant ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon. He received his medical degree M.B.Ch.B from School of Medicine, Salahaddin University, Iraq (2000). He completed all of his surgical speciality training in United Kingdom and attained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Otolaryngology in UK (2017).
Dr. Shwan’s work experience spans for 16 years in United Kingdom. He worked as Consultant, Otolaryngologist in UK until 2019 before moving to UAE. He worked in several prominent hospitals in UK such as Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital, Ninewells Hospital and Yorkhill Hospital.
Dr. Shwan has numerous presentations, research and publications in high impact international journals. He has experience as an Honorary Clinical Tutor, University of Dundee/Medical School teaching undergraduate students.
Dr. Shwan is a member of several international associations including Member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, Member of Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, UK and Member of ENT Scotland society, UK.
