Dr. Shubha Shankari completed her MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore University, India in the year 1999 following which she continued as a fellow in Gynaecological Endoscopy and Critical Care Obstetrics and completed her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai in 2006.
She is trained in all laparoscopic Gynaecological procedures from diagnostic laparoscopy to laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy. Following this she did her fellowship in laparoscopy FMAS (Minimally Access Surgery) from World Laparoscopy Hospital (WHL), New Delhi affiliated to SAGES. Her core interest is laparoscopic procedures and has been trained in uterine balloon therapy - an ablation therapy for Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding.
