Before joining NMC, Dr. Sahar was a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist / Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Medicare Cardiac and General Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. She was a Post Fellow in Interventional Cardiology & Cardiac Emergency and a Fellow in Adult Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi, Pakistan. In addition, she has also worked with Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Pakistan, as Consultant Cardiologist & Senior Registrar.

Dr. Sahar has completed an MBBS from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and a Fellowship in Cardiology at Liaquat National Hospital and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. She has also completed a Post Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Sahar is the author of two research papers on Stent Thrombosis in international journals.

Dr. Sahar has expertise in the management of ischemic heart diseases, heart failure management, medical management of arrhythmias, valvular heart diseases, and other cardiac diseases.
