Qualification:
- MRCP- Royal college of Physicians Edinburgh ( Specialist in Internal Medicine)
- MD- Grant Medical College , Mumbai
- Dr. Ranjan Basu completed his MBBS in 1987 and subsequently his MD (Internal Medicine) in 1990 from the prestigious Grant Medical College in Mumbai in India.
- Subsequently, Dr. Basu became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK (MRCP)
Dr. Basu is the Head of department of Internal medicine department .He Supervises, coordinates and monitors the healthcare provided in the department to promote efficient and effective delivery of quality health care both in the OPD and in the IP sector.
He has attended many Conferences and Seminars. He has experience of teaching Undergraduate students , during the course of his MD and also after that have been involved in teaching medical students/Interns in the role of Faculy ,Medical Education.
He has good expertise in treating Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Connective tissue disorders, Infectious diseases and Respiratory related diseases. Primary contribution of Dr. Basu is providing Compassionate health care to both Outpatient and Inpatients. He is the Chairman of the Pharmacotherapeutic Committee of NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
He is also a member of the Credentialing /Privileging committee.
