Dr. Rana got her medical degree from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2000, and then her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Lebanese University Beirut, Lebanon, in 2005. Dr. Rana had her training in many reputable hospitals in Beirut, Lebanon.

Dr. Rana also got her Diploma in High-Risk Pregnancy from the University of Paris VI (Pierre and Marie Curie University), Paris, France in 2007. Dr. Rana is a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr. Rana went to Paris, France for her Fellowship in High Risk Pregnancy from 2005 to 2007, followed by working in a level 3 maternity centre in Victor Dupouy Medical Centre.Dr. Rana has more than 18 years of experience. She has worked in many private sector and private clinics in Lebanon before moving to KSA, where she worked as a Consultant in Obstetrics from 2008 till 2013. Dr. Rana came to the UAE in 2013 and worked in Health Plus Network and then in Danat Al Emarat Hospital as Acting Consultant till January 2023.
