Dr. Rajesh Hegde completed his MBBS and MD in Dermatology & Venerology from JJ Medical College, Karnataka, India.
His work experience spans 23 years. He worked as a Lecturer for the Department of Dermatology in M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, India. Dr Rajesh joined NMC Specialty Hospital as a Specialist Dermatologist in 1995 and is the Head of the Department of Dermatology.
His areas of Expertise are General dermatology, Paediatric Dermatology, Cosmetic dermatology and Phototherapy.
Dr. Rajesh keeps himself academically updated with medical conferences both at national and international levels. He participates as a speaker in various Dermatology Continuous Medical Education Programme and some of the topics he has spoken are “Herpes Simplex Infection”, “Sun and the Skin”, “Overview of Angioedema” & “Skin and its care in Paediatric Age group”. Dr Rajesh has also presented a paper called “Lymph Node Involvement in Donoonosis” at South Indian Dermatology Conference held in Madras, India.
He speaks English, Hindi, Kannada, Tulu, Malayalam and Arabic.
