Dr. Rajarshi Mitra graduated from NSCB Medical College and completed his Post-Graduate training in Surgery from GMC Bhopal, India. He underwent further training in Laparoscopic Surgery at FORTIS Hospital.

He was a Visiting Physician at The MAYO Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA, where he had training in Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures & Gastrointestinal Surgical Procedures.

Dr. Rajarshi has undergone training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at European Institute of Telesurgery [EITS-IRCAD], University of Strasbourg, France, and was awarded the Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery [DLS] by the University of Strasbourg, France.

He underwent a 6-month Fellowship in the Departments of Colorectal & Metabolic Surgery at China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, where he was trained in Advanced Laparoscopic Colorectal & Bariatric Surgery. He also underwent training in Trans Anal Hemorrhoidal Dearterialization (THD), an advanced method for the surgical treatment of haemorrhoids, under Prof. Carlo Ratto at The Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome.
