Dr Praveen completed his MBBS at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai, India. He subsequently obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore, India, followed by a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Pediatrics from SAT Hospital, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He also completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at The Madras Medical Mission, Chennai, India.
He holds several internationally recognized postgraduate qualifications and professional memberships, including FRCP (Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK), MRCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK), MRCPI (Royal College of Physicians of Ireland), MRCPS (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK), MNAMS (National Academy of Medical Sciences, India), and European Board of Paediatrics (EBP–EAP) certification. He has also completed a Professional Diploma in Infectious Diseases from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Dr Praveen is actively involved in medical education and quality improvement. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ, USA).
He has also completed advanced training in patient centered clinical nutrition from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston, USA, and is certified in Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition through IIT Bombay and NPTEL.
